Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed variance analysis for manufacturing costs, production volumes, and overhead.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range strategic planning.
- Analyze product line profitability, cost of goods sold, and support pricing decisions.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analyses for plant investments.
- Monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and their financial impact on production efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management on manufacturing site performance.
- Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and working capital optimization efforts.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proven experience with cost accounting principles in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting for production environments.
- Experience with manufacturing‑specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis
- Familiarity with supply chain finance and inventory management best practices
- Experience linking financial performance to operational KPIs (e.g., OEE, scrap rates)
