HR Generalist | Hudsonville, MI
Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, maintenance, and administrative roles.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution within a manufacturing setting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs, including accurate payroll processing for a diverse workforce.
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs, including safety, compliance, and skills development for manufacturing staff.
- Oversee workers' compensation claims, incident reporting, and return-to-work programs.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective action plans for all departments.
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
- Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and conducting investigations.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce, including production and skilled trades.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and workers' compensation processes.
- Experience with union relations or collective bargaining.
- Demonstrated involvement in workplace safety programs or OSHA compliance initiatives.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
