Key Responsibilities- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a range of manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and engineering.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and local community outreach, to attract manufacturing talent.
- Conduct pre-employment assessments and coordinate background checks relevant to industrial environments.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide market insights and compensation recommendations for manufacturing positions.
- Proven experience recruiting for diverse manufacturing roles (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades, operations).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and talent market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill technical and skilled trade positions.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes, equipment, or skilled trades.
- Experience recruiting for unionized work forces or specific skilled labor roles.
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms prevalent in large manufacturing (e.g., SAP Success Factors, Workday).
- Basic understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) relevant to industrial environments.
