Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical faults in manufacturing machinery and controls.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical components, wiring, and control panels.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for system modifications and repairs.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motors, and sensors.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, national electrical codes, and company policies.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).
- Proficiency in PLC programming, diagnostics, and ladder logic (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization.
