2026 ESY Job Coach – White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $25/hr.

Dates of ESY: June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for ESY Programming.

Work Days/Times: Proposed ESY Programming days:
Mon‑Fri per the ESY calendar;
Proposed times: 7:20 am – 11:05 am (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs).

Student Level: Secondary

Position Summary: The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking a job coach to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) summer work program. Performs intermediate human support work assisting classroom teachers/work coordinator by working with special needs students individually or in small groups in employment settings or the classroom, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under moderate supervision of ESY teachers, the Work Coordinator and Student Support Services Administrators.

Job coaches support the needs of special education students in the area of employment. A job coach ensures that students working on job sites are trained and work to the employer’s quality standards.

Education and /or Experience: High school diploma or GED and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred. Experience as a job coach preferred.

• Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits or pass MN Parapro test
• Training in Blood Borne Pathogens
• Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota
• Trained to drive district busette and/or van
• Experience job coaching (Preferred)
• Experience working with White Bear Lake Area School and/or TEC program preferred.
• ESY Experience (Preferred)
