Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring assignments are delivered to the highest standard and within agreed timescales
  • Plan, supervise, and review audit assignments from inception through to completion, maintaining compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
  • Develop and mentor junior and semi-senior team members, supporting their progression and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the audit department, including involvement in business development activities
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant post-qualified experience in an audit-focused role
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Proven ability to manage a varied client portfolio and deliver high-quality audit work to tight deadlines
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and relevant auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client and colleague relationships
