Trainee Accountant

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accountancy career looking to gain broad practice experience while continuing their studies. You will work closely with senior team members, supporting a range of client work and developing your technical skills. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing statutory accounts
* Supporting VAT returns and management accounts
* Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting with corporation and personal tax compliance
* Payroll processing support
* Using cloud software such as Xero
* Supporting client onboarding and system setup
* Assisting with client queries About You You should have:
* Some practice experience (preferred)
* Basic knowledge of accounts, VAT and payroll
* Experience with Xero or similar software (preferred)
* A proactive attitude to learning Ideally you will also be:
* Studying AAT Level 4
* Planning to progress to ACCA or ACA
