An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a highly established and supportive accountancy practice in Sevenoaks. This is an ideal move for a personal tax professional who wants more than simply processing returns. The successful Tax Senior will manage their own portfolio, work across a varied mix of compliance, advisory and tax planning assignments, and gain direct exposure to Tax Managers and Partners.

About the role Joining an established and growing tax department, the Tax Senior will take responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients while handling increasingly complex and interesting assignments. Responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing personal tax and Making Tax Digital (MTD) returns with minimal supervision Managing a portfolio and acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients Preparing, reviewing and submitting P11

Ds Calculating benefits in kind and employer Class 1A NICs Producing accurate income tax and capital gains tax computations Identifying tax planning opportunities Handling inheritance tax, capital gains and non-resident matters Liaising directly with clients and resolving queries Dealing with HMRC correspondence, enquiries and disclosures Reviewing junior team members' work and providing guidance Managing workflow and deadlines across the client portfolio There is also scope to continue developing professional knowledge and qualifications, including ATT, CTA and ACA.

What we are looking for The successful Tax Senior will ideally offer:
