Accounts Assistant

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and busy finance team based in West Swindon for 3 months. Office based role. This is an immediate requirement for an initial 3-month assignment, providing cover across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly integrate into an established team.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching and coding invoices Statement reconciliations Resolving supplier queries Preparing payment runs Accounts Receivable Raising sales invoices Allocating customer receipts Chasing overdue payments Managing customer account queries Maintaining accurate debtor records General Finance Support Bank reconciliations Assisting with month-end processes Maintaining financial records and documentation Providing administrative support to the wider finance team About You Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger role Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Good attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively What's on Offer?
