Interim Accountant

KCR Solutions are assisting an excellent client to recruit an Interim Accountant for a 6-month FTC. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes. The successful candidate will be a qualified, part-qualified or a QBE accountant with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain and improve financial controls and processes. Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries. Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury activities. Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
