You will support the event by setting up and packing down the venue, marshaling participants, and ensuring all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.

• Set up and pack down the event: course and marshal stations, marquees and flags, water delivery to finish line, and post‑event cleanup.
• Course Marshal: cheer and encourage participants, help navigate the course, answer queries, and process on‑the‑day entries.
• Obstacle Marshal: guide participants through climbs, crawls and slides, ensuring a muddy but safe experience.
• Cycle Marshal (if applied): cycle along the route to support participants; must bring own bike suitable to the terrain.

• Engaging, friendly, with positive energy.
• Flexible and willing to support wherever needed.
• Team player who enjoys working with others.
• Passionate about helping others and supporting cancer research.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age to serve as Course Marshal or Cycle Marshal. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have parental permission. Applicants must live in the UK and disclose any unspent criminal convictions.

Gain skills and experience in events and the charity sector, meet like‑minded people, and contribute to cancer research. Meals and snacks will be provided. Travel and reasonable out‑of‑pocket expenses will be covered.
