Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established main contractor based in Hull, is seeking a dedicated QS to join their growing commercial team. Specialising in new build, commercial refurbishment, and modular build projects, they offer a diverse and exciting workload with strong career progression opportunities.

The Role You will work closely with the project and commercial teams to support the successful delivery of a range of construction schemes. This role would suit either:
 
An Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or
An Intermediate QS looking for new challenges.  

Key Responsibilities  
Assisting in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans
Measuring, valuing, and negotiating subcontractor packages
Preparing tender documentation and assisting with procurement
Monitoring project costs, variations, and contractual obligations
Supporting senior commercial staff and ensuring projects remain within financial targets
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams  About You  
Minimum 5 years' experience working alongside a main contractor
Strong understanding of construction processes, commercial management, and contract administration
Knowledge of modular construction is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress within a supportive team  What's on Offer
