FFW Site Services are recruiting for an ambitious Site Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering a variety of infrastructure projects across Yorkshire.

The role offers exposure to a variety of civil engineering projects, including highways, drainage, public realm improvements, groundworks and infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out setting out and surveying using GPS, Total Stations and levelling equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Ensure construction works are completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors and construction teams.
- Monitor progress, quality standards and health and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate site records, survey information and quality documentation.
- Support Site Managers and Project Managers with the successful delivery of projects.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout construction.
- Assist with inspections, testing and project handovers.
- Experience with in civil engineering or construction.
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification, such as a Degree, HNC, HND, NVQ or equivalent.
- Practical experience in setting out and surveying.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience working on highways, drainage, groundworks or infrastructure projects.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ambition to progress.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- First Aid at Work.
- Streetworks / NRSWA.
- Temporary Works experience.
