We’re Rio Nuevo Chocolate, an independent chocolate company based in Cornwall, working directly with cacao farmers and communities in Ecuador. We care about good design, thoughtful storytelling and making things that people want to pick up, read and keep.
We’re looking for a creative freelance graphic designer to help us develop a small collection of printed marketing materials, including postcards, flyers and packaging inserts.
We’d love to work with someone who has a good eye for typography, layout and print design, and who enjoys bringing ideas to life in a simple, interesting way.
What we’re looking for- An interest in editorial design, typography and printed materials
- Experience designing postcards, flyers, leaflets or packaging inserts
- Someone who can bring their own ideas and creative direction
- Good understanding of preparing artwork for print
- An interest in food, sustainability or independent brands would be lovely, but isn’t essential
We’ll start with a few small design projects, with the possibility of more freelance work as we develop our brand materials.
This is a paid, remote opportunity with flexible hours, suitable for a current student, recent graduate or emerging designer looking to build their portfolio while working with an independent brand.
