Sales Administrator

Location:

Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Contract:

Full-time, office-based

The Thrive Group is proud to be working as a recruitment agency on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Hull. We are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join a small, friendly, and high-performing team, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, administration, and supporting sales activity within a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Full training will be provided.

The Role

As a Customer Service / Support Representative, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and the internal sales function. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality customer service and support
Handling customer communication via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and other channels
Processing and inputting orders accurately using a bespoke CRM system
Managing customer and sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Liaising with internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
General administrative duties to support the wider team
Upselling products and services across the existing customer base, in line with business growth objectives

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a customer service or support role (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Confidence in handling telephone-based communication and telesales activity
GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent)
A flexible and positive attitude, with a willingness to take on additional tasks when required

Experience with in parking, public transport, or similar sectors would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000
26 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
