We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring
Dental Receptionist
to join our friendly team at our mixed
private and NHS dental practice
located in Hull City Centre.

This is an excellent career opportunity for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a professional, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a welcoming approach when dealing with patients and colleagues.

Previous dental reception experience is preferred but
not essential
, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours:
30.5 hours per week over 4 days, including Saturdays.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Confidence using computers and practice systems
  • The ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
  • Dental knowledge is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
Job Purpose:

To ensure the reception area operates efficiently, providing a welcoming and professional service to all patients. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the practice by following reception procedures and protocols while delivering excellent patient care.

Main

Duties Include:
  • Answering telephone calls in a professional and helpful manner
  • Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
  • Managing patient appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Collecting and recording patient payments
  • Managing voicemail messages and patient emails
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and following practice procedures
  • Supporting infection control and current health and safety guidelines
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
