Trinity Exam Co-ordinator (Hull and Bath)

We run junior summer courses for English language students aged between 10 and 17. Students from around the world attend, with the majority being Italian and many from Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Argentina and Cyprus. They stay for two weeks in the UK and participate in a mixed programme of lessons and excursions led by Activity Leaders.

Our Mission: To provide a comfortable and caring environment in the UK where students can improve their English communication skills and develop for a more global society. We aim for them to leave with a deeper understanding of UK culture and a lifelong passion for learning English.

Overview of role
  • Job title: Trinity Exam Coordinator
  • Line manager: Director of Studies / Centre Manager
  • Pay rate: Competitive salary plus full board accommodation if required and holiday pay
  • Dates: June to August – fixed‑term contracts of 5–7 weeks
  • Hours: As required (typically 40 hours per week)
Key responsibilities
  • Manage and implement the GESE Trinity Exam at the centre.
  • Coordinate with teachers, group leaders, the Head Office Exam Coordinator and Trinity examiners to ensure smooth organisation and running of the exam.
  • Maintain accurate exam documentation and reporting.
  • Support staff and students during the exam period, including answer‑key management and result communication.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and security procedures for all under‑18 participants.
Requirements
  • Previous residential summer school experience – essential.
  • Experience teaching mixed‑nationality classes and preparing students for Trinity GESE exams.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Capability to work with children and young adults in a regulated activity setting.
