Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Maths Trinity House

Hull Trinity House Academy are looking to appoint a HLTA for Maths to join our academy as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis.

Overview

Hull Trinity House Academy has just entered one of the most exciting times in its history. We have recently become co-educational and this year moved into a brand-new building which is filled with state-of-the-art facilities. Hull Trinity House is a secondary school located in Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Responsibilities
  • Complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and support the development of other support staff, pupils, and academy policies and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to assist with the whole planning cycle, resource preparation, and management.
  • Supervise whole classes during short-term absences of teachers.
  • Provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy to raise standards of achievement, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills in planning, monitoring, assessing, and managing classes.
  • Encourage pupils to become independent learners.
  • Support pupil welfare and inclusion in all aspects of academy life.
Salary & Hours

Grade F – Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 FTE) subject to pro rata. Minimum actual pro rata salary: £25,520.47.

37 hours per week / Term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks) – Permanent.
