GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Hull and the East Riding area.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals with transferable childcare or support experience looking for flexible work.

The Role as a Teaching Assistant:

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
Promoting pupil confidence, wellbeing, and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working with children or young people
Be patient, proactive, and adaptable
Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
