The Role
Do you enjoy adapting your teaching to help every student overcome barriers and succeed? Are you ready for a rewarding challenge in a specialist setting? Working within specialist schools across Huddersfield, you will teach and support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, adapting teaching to meet individual needs and help pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Create a positive learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
- Collaborate with experienced support staff in Kirklees to provide tailored support for each student.
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.
- Confident in differentiating lessons for students with a variety of SEN needs.
- Calm, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
- Passionate about helping young people achieve positive outcomes both in and beyond the classroom.
