Pay:
Up to £38,005 depending on experience and qualifications.

Hours:

37 hours per week, 52 weeks.

Location:

Redditch & Worcester (Malvern) Campuses – delivery on and off‑site at employer premises where required and in college.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting Property Maintenance apprenticeship programmes from initial enrolment through to End Point Assessment.
  • Managing individual learning and skill programmes to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Delivering accredited learning within apprenticeships and commercial training programmes.
  • Assessing in college and in the workplace.
  • Keeping accurate records of apprentice progress.
Key roles and accountabilities
  • Conduct interviews and initial assessments to determine programme suitability and starting points.
  • Arrange appointments and attend employer premises to provide information, advice and guidance; complete start and induction processes; negotiate Individual Learning Plans (ILPs); conduct progress reviews every 8‑10 weeks.
  • Develop innovative delivery models and tailored training programmes.
  • Carry out timely, accurate and audit‑compliant completion of all administrative processes, maintaining learner files, reports and e‑portfolio tracking.
  • Report progress to CRQs monthly and collaborate with the academic team.
  • Ensure external accreditation registration when required.
  • Deliver training and assessment in classroom and workplace; provide internal verification of other assessments.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through effective communication.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date operational knowledge of eligibility criteria, funding rules, audit requirements and other conditions.
  • Carry out marketing and promotional activities to support employer engagement.
  • Conduct contract reviews and audits.
  • Identify and propose development actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain evaluation systems to capture feedback from apprentices, employers and vocational staff.
  • Support the learner’s development of knowledge, skills and behaviours for End Point Assessment.
  • Support apprentices with building showcase portfolios.
  • Work with Carpentry and Joinery LSDO to support timely completion for all Construction apprentices.
General accountabilities
  • Commit to safeguarding, equity, and diversity.
  • Participate in performance management and training.
  • Continuously improve teaching, learning and assessment through CPD.
  • Participate in College quality improvement initiatives.
  • Take reasonable care for health and safety.
  • Support College safeguarding, equality and diversity policies.
  • Operate HR tasks within GDPR principles.
Salary

£35,251 to £38,005 per annum, increasing within the band after probation.

Hours of work

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum.

Annual leave

25 annual leave days plus eight public bank holidays plus five concessionary days.

Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Two references, one from the most recent employer.
  • Qualification validation check.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
  • Physical capability to travel and attend on‑site training.
