Introduction
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Level 3 Apprentice to join The Croft at Tranby, an Independent co-educational 2-18 day school. Set within beautiful grounds, The Croft offers a child-centred approach where curiosity, creativity and outdoor learning are at the heart of everything we do.

WhatYou'll Do
You will work alongside our experienced Early Years team to support children aged 2-5 years in a nurturing, inspiring and child-centred environment. You will help create engaging learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, supporting every child to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Main duties will include:
- Supporting children in their play, learning and daily routines.
- Helping to plan and deliver exciting learning experiences linked to children's interests.
- Encouraging communication, language development and positive social interactions.
- Supporting children's wellbeing, personal development and emotional regulation.
- Assisting with observations and assessments to monitor children's progress.
- Promoting independence through child-led exploration and discovery.
- Supporting outdoor learning, including Forest School and our extensive outdoor provision.
- Working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are always met.
This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an outstanding independent school environment whilst working towards a nationally recognised Early Years qualification.
Training OutcomeUpon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Educator. This could lead to a permanent position within The Croft or wider Tranby community, with opportunities to progress to Room Lead or Deputy Manager. Tranby actively invests in staff development through ongoing CPD, leadership training and further qualifications, supporting ambitious individuals to build a rewarding long-term career in education.
