Tutor Required – Hull (Immediate Start)

Think Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate tutor to support a Key Stage 3 student on a one-to-one basis at a setting in Hull.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in a child’s learning journey. The successful candidate will work closely with the student to build confidence, reinforce core skills, and provide tailored academic support within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver personalised learning sessions aligned with Key Stage 3 curriculum

* Support the student’s academic progress in core subjects such as English and Maths

* Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

* Build a positive and encouraging learning environment

* Liaise with staff and Think Education to monitor progress

Requirements:

* Experience working with secondary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 3

* Experience of working with students who have SEMH

* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

* Ability to engage and motivate learners on a one-to-one basis

* Relevant qualifications or tutoring/teaching experience preferred
