We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs across schools in Doncaster
, with opportunities to travel to Rotherham and Barnsley
.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
- Support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them reach their full potential
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
