Wawne Primary School is a small village school and we are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, family atmosphere and our commitment to helping every child thrive.

This post is to provide support within our Class 3, supporting a pupil 1:1. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teachers, SENDCo, and other members of staff to ensure the children's needs are met

We are looking for someone who:

• Ideally holds an NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Has experience of supporting children with EHCP.
• Is enthusiastic and self-motivated.
• Is proactive in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 8.45am - 3.45pm, (including 30 minutes for lunch), totalling 32.5 hours per week. This is a term-time only position, starting as soon as possible to cover maternity leave to 31 st August 2027.
