As a Science Teacher at Kingswood Academy, you'll create a learningenvironmentwhereallstudentsfeelsupportedandencouraged. You'll plan engaging lessons, track student progress, and provide helpful feedback. Working closelywithcolleagues, pastoral staff, and parents, you'll help meet the needs ofeverystudent and build their confidence.

• Plan and teach lessons that engagestudentsand build understanding
• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including thosewithSEND, high ability, and EAL
• Use assessment and feedback to helpstudentsreflect on their progress and close any gaps
• Build a positive classroom culturewithclear routines and highexpectationsforbehaviour
• Workwithcolleagues, parents, andsupportstaff to create the best outcomes foreverystudent

• Have QTS, or are currently training and due to achieve QTS by September 2026 or hold a degree in a science based subject and would like to transition into teaching through ourin-house Instructor training route,leadingto securing qualified teacher status within two years. Helping Lift Kingswoodto  develop the nextgenerationof great teachers.
