Monarch Education is currently taking referrals in the
Medway area for 1-2-1 tutors to work with children who are not currently accessing an education setting.
The children that you would be working with are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and may also have Special Educational Needs.
You would be required to deliver Maths & English usually at KS 1/2/3/4 level, or Functional Skills; often pupils are not working to age-related expectations.
- Tuition usually takes place within the school day, and you would need to be available for AT LEAST 3 hours per day ( Monday to Friday) to be considered
- You can accept as many assignments as your schedule will allow! You would be required to complete daily attendance/session feedback, and half termly progress reports.
- Tuition usually needs to be put in place very quickly, so
would not
suit anyone working full time who has to work a notice period. - must be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS)
- You must have an enhanced, child workforce DBS on the update service - we can assist you with a new application if you do not have this.
