Behaviour Support Assistant

Supply Hive Wales is looking for calm, patient Behaviour Support Assistants to work with pupils in schools across Cardiff who need a little extra help to settle, focus and feel good about learning. If you stay steady under pressure and believe every child deserves a fresh start each morning, we'd love to hear from you.

• Supporting individual pupils and small groups who find classroom routines and big feelings hard to manage
• Helping children and young people spot their triggers early and use strategies to stay regulated
• Building trusting, consistent relationships so pupils feel safe enough to get on with learning
• Working alongside teachers and ALN staff to follow behaviour and support plans

• Experience supporting children or young people whose behaviour can be challenging, whether in a school, youth work, care or a similar setting
• No TA qualification needed – we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
• Calm, resilient and able to stay positive (and keep your sense of humour) on the tougher days
• An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service

• £14.31–£15.38 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
• Safeguarding training provided
• Roles in primary and secondary schools across Cardiff
