Hull, UK - Hybrid but UK and occasional travel required

Salary: up to £60k, dependent on experience + bonus + exceptional benefits package

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a Project Engineer to manage CAPEX projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time role based in Hull, with occasional UK and international travel required. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from planning through delivery, including budgeting, equipment procurement, installation, validation, and commissioning.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with project management experience to lead high-impact projects and work in a technical, hands-on environment. Ideally, candidates will have experience with automation or manufacturing machinery, but we are open to strong candidates with broader technical experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through to delivery and validation
• Control project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Apply knowledge of process validation, change control, and project planning
• Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Travel to UK and occasional overseas sites as required

Skills and Experience

• Degree in engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• Strong project management experience, ideally managing CAPEX projects
• Hands-on experience with automation or manufacturing equipment is highly desirable
• Vision system experience is a plus but not essential
• Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects independently
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas for the requirements of a project.
