This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and international travel. Youll split your time between customer sites around the world and supporting product development activities, playing a key role in ensuring high-performance mechanical equipment is installed, commissioned, and operating at its best.

If you enjoy working closely with customers, getting stuck into technical challenges, and seeing projects through from installation to optimisation, this role offers real variety and responsibility.

The Role As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will:
Install, commission, and start up advanced mechanical equipment at customer sites globally Carry out servicing, fault finding, and maintenance both in the UK and overseas Provide remote technical support to customers via Teams and email Support product and process trials at customer sites and international R&D facilities Gather customer feedback and performance data to help drive continuous product improvement Work closely with internal engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability Your work will directly contribute to the ongoing innovation and success of specialist processing systems used worldwide.

About You Were looking for a practical, solutions-focused engineer who brings:
Apprenticeship trained to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification Strong hands-on experience in machine assembly, maintenance, or field service Clear and confident communication skills A proactive approach and attention to detail Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally throughout the year with a 50/50 split between the head office and overseas Whats on Offer £38,000 £ 42,000 basic salary Bonus and paid overtime Pension and life assurance Regular international travel Varied, technically interesting projects Supportive and collaborative engineering environment Opportunities for ongoing professional development
