We are now seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer to help us maintain, optimise and future-proof our mechanical systems across a complex and diverse campus environment.

As a Mechanical Engineer within the Estates Operations team, you will provide professional, technical and operational expertise in the maintenance, repair, management and optimisation of the University’s mechanical systems and infrastructure.

You will:

• Carry out inspection, testing, maintenance and performance optimisation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression and related plant.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes and deliver effective repairs to ensure continuity of service.
