Work type: Permanent. A rolling 3 weeks of nights (Monday to Thursday 4 x 9.25 hrs from 20:45 to 06:30) and 1 week of days (Monday to Friday 5 x 7.4 hrs from 08:00 to 16:00). 37 hrs per week.
Location: Your home location will be in the Hull area.
What is the purpose of the Night Trainee Leakage Inspector role and what is the working pattern?
The Trainee Night Leakage Inspector will work alongside the Night Leakage Inspector and support with advanced investigation activities in the most problematic and challenging district metered area's (DMA’s) across the region. The work will involve supporting with step testing and more complex leakage investigation activities in order to locate and promote leakage for repair. In addition, the Team will carry out activities that will achieve longer term benefits to the network, including DMA optimisation, meter servicing, commercial usage investigations and work directed by our Engineering Teams.
You will be expected to work a rolling pattern of 3 weeks of nights and one week of days so you must have the ability to work during unsociable hours.
