The Opportunity

An established niche manufacturing and engineering business in the Hull area is looking to strengthen its design capability and is interested in speaking with experienced Design Engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Solid Works and manufacturing design who enjoys seeing their designs progress from initial concept through to manufacture and finished product.

The business produces specialist engineered equipment for customers across a range of sectors, with design, manufacturing and engineering working closely together from one site.

Salary is fully negotiable based on experience, and applications are welcomed from candidates at varying stages of their design career, providing they possess the core technical skills required.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D models and engineering designs using Solid Works
• Create accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings
• Design sheet-metal and fabricated components and assemblies
• Develop designs from initial concept through to manufacture
