Mixed Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager

Our client is a large independent accountancy firm. They seek an Advisory Tax Specialist for a Mixed Tax role working to partners on a wide range of work for HNW individuals, owner managers, and their businesses. It is likely that you will be Manager level or above and that you will have a relevant professional qualification (CTA, ACA, ICAS, or former Inspector of Taxes).

Day to day your role will include:

• Reviewing work of more junior staff.
• Advising clients on IHT and CGT.
• All round advice to HNW individuals and families.
• Tax structuring and due diligence around business life cycle such as sales, MBO’s, joint ventures.
• Advising on tax-efficient remuneration planning.
• Helping families to pass businesses to the next generation.
• Dealing with queries from HMRC.
• Building long term relationships with clients and networking with other professionals.
• Involvement with pitches for new work.
• Management responsibilities including some travel to other offices.

Hybrid and flexible working available and part-time also considered. There is the opportunity for career progression. Ideally based in Hull, our client will also consider Scarborough or Goole as an office location. Would consider a more senior hire such as a partner who is retiring from partnership and looking for an interesting part-time role.
