Location: Kingston upon Hull
Finance Assistant (30hours)
This is a hands-on, varied position where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance operations while also supporting the wider team when needed.
You'll be joining a fast-paced environment, so organisation, flexibility, and a proactive approach are essential.
Hours:
30 hours per week (weekday working)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
✅ Key Responsibilities
Processing invoices, purchase orders, and financial transactions
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Completing bank reconciliations and accurate data entry
Assisting with payroll and finance reporting
Maintaining organised and compliant financial records
Providing general administrative support to the team
Supporting operational tasks including stock and deliveries when required
👤 About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and happy to take a hands-on approach:
Previous experience in a finance / accounts assistant role (essential)
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Excel and Office systems
Able to work independently and within a team
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support across the business
Physically capable of occasional manual tasks (incl. lifting)
Strong communication and time management skills
