This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a background in finance or customer accounts who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, team‑orientated environment.

🧩 The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will play a key role in supporting the company's cash flow while delivering a professional and efficient service.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, confident, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balances
Chasing overdue payments via phone and email in a professional manner
Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
Supporting billing and invoicing processes
Liaising with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Maintaining accurate records and updating systems regularly
Producing reports on aged debt and escalating issues where necessary

🌟 About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role (preferred)
Be confident communicating with customers regarding payments and queries
Have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Be comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment
Have good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Have a proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload
