Senior Management Accountant

Reed Finance is recruiting on behalf of our client for a fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This role is essential for producing high-quality financial information to support decision-making across a global, multi-entity organisation. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience using Sage as a system. Our client are working on a flexible, hybrid basis.

Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records within Sage, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled. Support annual audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance. Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, working closely with budget holders. Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes.

Use Sage for core accounting activities and assist with ad-hoc financial modelling and business analysis. Implement and improve financial processes and controls, helping to establish scalable, best-practice finance operations. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Proven experience in a management accounting role at a senior level. Strong, hands-on experience using Sage. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data. Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
