Tax Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join a high-performing finance team in a hybrid role based in London. This position acts as second-in-command to the Head of Tax and will play a key role in shaping and scaling the global tax function. • Supporting the Head of Tax in developing and executing the global tax strategy
• Leading on corporate tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions
• Assisting with tax provisioning and ensuring accuracy under relevant accounting standards
• Advising on the tax implications of business initiatives and transactions
• Identifying and managing tax risks
• Partnering with internal teams to integrate tax into broader financial planning and operations
• Helping design and enhance tax processes, controls, and systems as part of a growing tax function

• Significant experience in corporate tax within the financial services industry
• Strong track record in building or significantly contributing to the development of an in-house tax function
• Technically strong with a detailed understanding of tax compliance and reporting
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and engage across functions
• Experience in transfer pricing and VAT is a plus, but not essential
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
