Systems Accountant

Systems Accountant (Interim) Edinburgh City Centre | Hybrid Working Competitive Daily Rate Initial 3-Month Contract Robert Half is delighted to be partnering with a well-established Edinburgh-based organisation to recruit an experienced Systems Accountant for an immediate 3-month assignment. This role will play a key part in supporting and optimising the organisation's Sage Intacct environment, working closely with finance and operational teams to improve reporting, streamline processes, and maximise system functionality.

Key Responsibilities Act as the finance lead for Sage Intacct system support and optimisation. Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Develop and enhance reporting capabilities within Sage Intacct. Support month-end, management reporting, and financial controls from a systems perspective. Assist with system configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Work with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Provide user training and support to maximise system utilisation. Deliver process documentation and best practice guidance. About You Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience. Proven experience working as a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems Analyst, or Finance Transformation professional. Strong hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is essential. Excellent understanding of finance processes including month-end close, reporting, controls, and reconciliations.

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Ability to work independently and quickly add value within a short-term project environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business. What's on Offer? Immediate start opportunity.
