Finance Manager

About The Company:

A well-established and growing business is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key role within a fast-paced environment, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to support ongoing commercial growth.

The Role:

As Senior Management Accountant, you will take ownership of management reporting, month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting. You will provide valuable financial insight to support decision-making, maintain robust controls, and manage a small transactional finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and insightful commentary on performance. Manage daily cashflow, supplier payments, VAT returns, fixed assets and the wider purchase-to-pay process. Support annual budgets and rolling forecasts across profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow. Analyse financial and operational KPIs, product costing and performance trends, recommending actions for improvement. Support the year-end audit process and manage a small team across purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.

Skills:

Proven management accounting experience in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. Strong reporting, forecasting, reconciliations and financial-controls knowledge. Commercially minded with the ability to turn financial data into clear, practical recommendations. Previous people-management experience and strong stakeholder communication skills. Benefits:
