The London Borough of Bexley is seeking an Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Officer to help prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. This role supports the Council’s resilience programme and involves delivering training programs, reviewing emergency plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Ideal candidates will have experience in emergency planning or related fields, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with various stakeholders. This position supports the Council’s statutory resilience responsibilities and requires office presence at least 2-3 days a week.
