Supervisory or mentoring experience is essential, as you’ll help shape practice, support colleagues, and foster a positive, learning-focused team culture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working within the Care Act 2014 framework.
- Carrying out person-centred assessments in community and hospital settings
- Undertaking court work, including preparing reports, presenting evidence, and working within legal frameworks to support safeguarding and best outcomes for individual.
- Co-producing care and support plans, and reviewing outcomes
- Participating in the duty rota to respond to urgent and complex situations
What you’ll bring:
- A strong understanding of adult social care legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong IT and written skills to maintain accurate records and support performance monitoring
- A flexible, proactive approach to working under pressurei>
- A full driving licence—essential due to the wide geographical area covered (mileage allowance provided)
