The closing date is 29 January 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our Clinical Administration Service to work on Ward 15 at Castle Hill Hospital.

We are looking for enthusiastic people with previous customer service experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly, and are able to organise and prioritise their workload. Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public.

We are looking to recruit:

  • Post 1: 22.5 hours – Monday to Wednesday 07:00-15:00
  • Post 2: 30 hours – Thursday to Sunday 07:00-15:00

Although previous administration experience is desirable, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, those with a 'can do' attitude, and importantly, due to the nature of the work, people who have a flexible approach to working. Excellent customer service skills are a must!

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will join a friendly and supportive team that values the contribution of all staff.
