Job SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a Radiotherapy Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Queen's Centre, Castle Hill Hospital – part of the Humber Health Partnership.
This role is based in a UK Centre of Excellence supporting patients through every stage of radiotherapy treatment. As a specialist nurse you will provide expert advice, education and emotional support, help manage side‑effects, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
Main Duties- Provide specialist nursing care and advice to patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
- Support patients from pre‑treatment CT planning through to treatment completion.
- Educate patients and carers on managing side‑effects and maintaining wellbeing.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with oncology, haematology or palliative care experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑focused approach.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.

- Registered Nurse – Band 6
- Oncology/Haematology/Palliative Care qualification.
- Diploma/degree and/or working towards.
- IELTS Level 7.
- 2 years experience working in oncology/haematology.
- 2 years at Senior band 5 or above with management experience.
- Depth knowledge of oncology/haematology and patient disease processes.
- Ability to manage, organise and prioritise workload for self and team.
- Supervision and support skills.
- Venepuncture, cannulation and administration of drugs.
- Mentorship experience.
