As Treatment Team Leader, you will:
- Oversee daily operations in treatment delivery, ensuring a safe, high‑quality service.
- Lead and mentor a team of radiographers, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Maintain clinical expertise and contribute to service development, research, and innovation.
- Act as a key member of the senior radiotherapy management team, influencing future advancements in care.
One of the Treatment Delivery Team Leaders will take on specific responsibility for brachytherapy and superficial radiotherapy services. These specialist treatments are integral to our comprehensive cancer care pathway, offering highly targeted therapies for a range of tumour sites. Our brachytherapy services include:
- HDR brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers
- Electro‑brachytherapy for colorectal cancers
In this role, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of these advanced techniques, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Work closely with oncologists, physicists, and nursing teams to develop and implement innovative treatment protocols.
- Drive service improvements and contribute to research projects that shape the future of brachytherapy and superficial treatments.

Are you ready to take the next step in your radiotherapy career? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Therapeutic Radiographer to lead our Treatment Delivery Team at the Queen's Centre, Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham.
