Job Summary

CX847 Personal Assistant needed to support a 7‑year‑old boy in the HU7 area of Hull. The role requires 5 hours per week, plus an additional 5 hours during school holidays.

• Provide personal and practical support to a boy with autism and global developmental delay.
• Assist him in noisy and busy environments, helping to prevent dysregulation and overwhelm.
• Help with limited verbal communication and reduce frustration.
• Engage him in activities he enjoys, such as trains, bus rides, soft play areas, water and sand activities.

PA must understand autism and complex needs to support the young boy. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check, which will be funded by the local authority/employer.

Hours:

5 hours per week plus an additional 5 hours during school holidays.

Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour.
