Position: Registered Nurse (DART) - HMP  | Spectrum Community Health CIC

Overview

Are you a dedicated RGN/RMN looking for a new challenge within a diverse, Prison setting? Working in secure healthcare will bring new challenges. The days are varied and there is a wide range of training and development opportunities. You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead nurse clinics and undertakings such as Substance misuse assessment
  • Administer medication and treatments
  • Emergency response and triage
  • Wound care, examinations, and referrals
  • Contribute to a friendly and supportive team and deliver high quality patient care
Requirements
  • Sound nursing knowledge
  • Valuable experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in diverse and challenging environments
