Overview

The award winning Ophthalmology Outpatient department HRI is offering an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to join our expanding Imaging team.

This role involves performing vision tests and diagnostic digital imaging scans on patients presenting with a variety of eye conditions. We offer a supportive and friendly working environment with an opportunity for professional development. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a large team dedicated to providing high quality patient focused care. Previous healthcare and/or imaging experience would be an advantage but not essential, as a full induction and training will be provided.

To work as part of the Ophthalmic Imaging Team in the provision of a high quality specialist diagnostic imaging service to the department of ophthalmology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform vision tests and diagnostic digital imaging scans on patients presenting with eye conditions as part of the Ophthalmic Imaging Team.
  • Carry out a range of ophthalmic imaging techniques to support the diagnosis and management of ophthalmic patients. These include the following (not exhaustive):
    Visual Fields, Optical Coherence Tomography, Topography, Visual acuity.
Qualifications and attributes
  • Previous healthcare and/or imaging experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as a full induction and training will be provided.
