Location: Kingston upon Hull
We are recruiting an enthusiastic support worker who has experience of working with adults with additional needs. This is an ideal role for someone interested in the fields of care, rehabilitation, occupational therapy or physiotherapy. You will be working with a fun-loving, outgoing lady, aged 58, who has a spinal injury.
You will be responsible for enabling the client to lead a fulfilling life, including assisting in managing and attending weekly appointments and therapeutic activities; supporting the client with regular physiotherapy sessions; and supporting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in other fun and meaningful activities. The role will include occasional trips around the UK and potentially longer trips abroad. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, day‑to‑day household tasks, maintaining their home environment, maximising the client’s physical and psychological well‑being, and maintaining safety at all times.
- A full driving licence
- Relevant experience relating to the key goals of the role, as outlined in the job description
- Availability to cover a variety of shifts including weekday and weekend shifts.
- Responsible, trustworthy and very reliable person.
- Genuine caring, sensitive and patient profile
- Confident, creative and independent, with the ability to take the initiative and work alone
- Outgoing, fun and adventurous personality, who can provide good company and who will enjoy talking with the client and taking part in planned activities
- Ability to work using IT for email and support worker documentation
Working Hours:
10 hours per week
Monday‑Sunday: 12pm‑5pm
Rates of Pay: £20.00 per hour

Tonbridge
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce with Barring. Full training will be provided.
