Ultrasound Administrator (Bank Contract

We are looking for an administrator to join our Ultrasound service, working on a bank contract at our clinics across Suffolk.

Systm One Experience is essential for this role.

You will work closely with the Sonographer, including being present in the clinic room whilst the Ultrasound is taking place for any administrative work. You will triage patients as per protocol, and be responsible for incoming or outgoing image requests. You will ensure all patient information entered is accurate and that procedures and policies are followed at all times.

You’ll join our Ultrasound Service, which is delivered by Suffolk GP Federation. We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale.

We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, NHS Health Checks, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face‑to‑face Service in Suffolk.

We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place.

• It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role. You will be suited to this position if you have previous administration / secretarial experience.
• You will be capable of multidisciplinary work, and will be able to juggle the ever changing needs of the service.
• You would also work with the bookings team to manage the patient lists and booking appointments where necessary.
• You may have previous experience of working within a healthcare environment, however this is not essential.

This is a bank contract, covering annual leave and sickness where necessary at various different locations across Suffolk.
